Wonderful book for people even in their fifties who are scared they’re not moving their money around to maximize return because CNBC Shouting Heads (notice how they shout a lot on CNBC) push the narrative to read the markets to maximize returns. This book let me rest easier about saving for retirement and that there is No way to confidently predict the market as a regular Joe. Have given it to my sons, not sure if they fully comprehend it even though their in they’re in their 20’s but push for them to just start saving some amount (preferably in a Roth IRA or 401k if available ) and regularly contribute to it. And with time they will start to see how their money follows what Housel states in the book.
Thanks for reminding me about this book. Now I have something to bug my kids about this week.
